Yesterday was Christmas Eve and the Internet was totally useless, so I started working on a 3d character to pass the time. I was imagining some kind of character that you might see in a Final Fantasy type of game. As I was forming the head I was imagining an RPG in some kind of steampunk setting. The result is an anime-esque British guy with an expressive mane of hair and a monocle. As I continued, I began to think up some story for him.
Imagine yourself playing an oldschoolish RPG along the lines of FF7. You run into this British fellow somewhere along the way. You find him inside his personal library, researching some obscure topic about a distant land. He greets you and introduces himself. He reveals that he's trying to locate a lost civilization, hence all the scholarly research. The dialog goes on and eventually you can add him to your party.
His weapon is a steampunk blunderbuss with 3 barrels. To fire the blunderbuss, he lights a fuse with the pipe he smokes. Once the fuse wares out, the gun fires 3 times, with a chance to hit multiple targets.
We'll see how much more I can get done on him...
